Data controller

The controller of the data collected on this website is the publisher, Patrick Beaucamp (see the legal notice).

Data protection officer

For any question about your personal data, you can contact the data protection officer (DPO): dpo@latribu-it.fr.

Data collected

The website only collects personal data through the contact form:

  • reason for your request, first and last name, organisation (optional), email address, message;
  • a timestamp of when the form was filled in, used only to protect against automated submissions;
  • the sender’s IP address, held in memory for a few minutes at most to limit repeated submissions, and never stored.

No audience measurement or advertising tracking tool is used. The hosting provider (OVH SAS) keeps technical logs (IP address, pages viewed, date and time) needed for the security and proper operation of the service.

Purposes and legal basis

Form data is used to answer your request and, where relevant, follow up on the conversation. Processing is based on your consent, given through the form’s checkbox. Technical logs are based on the publisher’s legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.

Recipients and retention

Messages are intended for the publisher and, where needed, for the sponsors of the Data4Citizen community in order to handle your request. They are delivered by email through the Brevo service (a French company, data hosted in the European Union) and received in a Gmail mailbox (Google), which may process this data outside the European Union under the safeguards provided by the GDPR. These providers act solely as technical processors. Messages are never sold or passed on to third parties. They are kept for a maximum of 3 years after the last exchange. Technical logs are kept for a maximum of 1 year.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to dpo@latribu-it.fr. If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
